Healthcare resources

• Unemployment insurance benefits:  If you have experienced reduced hours, lost your job, or are caring for an ill family member, you can file a claim for unemployment insurance benefits.
• Qualifying for Medi-Cal coverage
• Qualifying for Covered California coverage
• NorthBay Health: Provides financial assistance to patients who have no health insurance to pay for medically necessary care or have insurance with high medical costs or out of pocket expenses. 
• Freedom Community Clinic: Prioritizes western medicine and holistic healing as a whole for Black, Brown, Native, and Immigrant communities.
• La Clinica: Provides multi-lingual, accessible full-scope health care services in the Bay Area no matter a patient’s income level or insurance status.
• San Francisco hand washing stations map: Free locations open to the public for hygiene purposes.

Low-cost internet service

• Xfinity: Comcast’s internet essential low-cost service program provides $9.95/month with 50Mbps.
• AT&T: Offers low-cost Wi-Fi starting at $30/month with up to 100Mbps.
• T-Mobile’s Project 10Million program for students: Free program for students or school districts with students who are eligible for the National School Lunch Program (ex. SNAP, Head Start, foster youth, etc.) grades K-12.
• SF.gov – Department of Technology (DT) Free internet access to residents living in affordable housing across San Francisco. 
• Affordable Connectivity Program: State of California has partnered with EveryoneOn and the California Emerging Technology Fund to help find programs in home low-cost internet service and computing devices. 
• Spectrum Internet Assist: An affordable internet option available for qualified households nationwide, providing 50Mbps starting at $25/month. 
• City of Oakland: Provides a $30/month discount on internet service to qualifying households.   

Meal assistance resources 

• San Francisco free meals for students: SFUSD is providing free breakfast, lunch, supper, fresh fruit, vegetables and milk to all children 18 and younger at 19 pick-up sites, Monday through Friday. No identification or proof of school enrollment is required, but a child must be present.
• San Francisco Department of Children Youth & Their Families: Provides the youth with basic nutritional needs (afterschool and summertime).
• BenefitsCal: CalFresh is a Federal Assistance Program for families to get access to healthy foods.
• Women, Infants, & Children (WIC): WIC is a federal assistance program focused on nutritional needs for women and children.
• ChildCare: Provides free tools and resources to connect with childcare programs in California. 
• Marin Health & Human Services Meals on Wheels: Provides home delivered meal service for seniors within Marin County. There is no income limit.
• San Francisco Meals on Wheels: Provides home delivered meal services for seniors in the San Francisco area.
• Alameda County Meals on Wheels: Provides home delivered meal services for seniors in Alameda County.

Financial resources

• CA Department of Community Services and Development (CSD): The CSD provides services and programs to low-income communities achieving and maintain economic security.
• Public Utilities Commission: Financial Assistance, Savings and Discounts for electrical, gas, telecommunication, or water utility bill.
• SF Human Services Agency: Supports the SF low-income community with financial assistance, food assistance, employment and more.
• Basic Fund: Financial assistance in the Bay Area with schooling, health services, and more for low-income families.
• Spark Point Program: Works with low-income families to meet basic needs (financial, food, housing) in the Bay Area.
• Marin Health & Human Services: Provides financial resources and programs for low-income families in Marin County.
• County of San Mateo Human Services: Financial assistance for all ages with low or no income through multiple publicly funded programs.
• United Way Bay Area: Available services and resources in the Bay Area for housing, financial assistance, rental assistance and more. 
• Marin Community Foundation (MCF): Provides emergency rental assistance and food for seniors and low-income families. 
• Community Foundation Sonoma County (CFSC): CFSC has partnered with the Silicon Valley Community Fund to provide housing, food, clothing, and financial assistance.
• Solano County – General Assistance (GA) Program: Provides short-term cash assistance, supportive services, helps people find employment and connect to helpful resources. 
• Solano County Public Assistance Resources: Resources provided for financial assistance, food assistance, legal services and more.
