Faculty/Academics, Manager, Postdoctoral

Pay for Family Care and Bonding

A pay option allowing eligible UC employees on certain types of leaves to use as income replacement for up to eight workweeks per calendar year.

Dental

UC offers two dental plans to those who are eligible: Delta Dental PPO and DeltaCare USA (HMO).

Flexible Spending Accounts

Set aside pre-tax funds to pay for eligible out-of-pocket expenses for medical care, dependent daycare and caregiving expenses. 

Family Care and/or Parental Bonding Leave

If you need time off to care for a loved one or bond with a newborn, foster child or adopted child, you may be eligible for job-protected leave. At UCSF, some or all of your job-protected leave may be paid.

This section offers resources for engaging in anti-racism work, practicing solidarity, and self-care for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC). These resources are largely provided by the UCSF Office for Diversity and Outreach, as well as additional resources for health care providers.
