Conducts analysis in support of real estate transactions and decision-making efforts. Participates in the selection, evaluation, acquisition, occupation, management and / or disposition of real property and building space in compliance with policy. Participates in development of budgets and resource allocations. Manages compliance with lease agreements and contracts; participates in negotiation efforts. Conducts financial analyses to evaluate and recommend lease vs. purchase decisions. Completes any required forecasts, budget analyses and reports of activities.

Involves the fields of healthcare technology management (systems engineering, biomedical engineering, regulatory compliance, new technology assessment and deployment). Includes technology selection, device integration, interfacing with IT security, infrastructure and networks and biomedical equipment services (inventory and maintenance of equipment). Applies a broad scope of diagnostic, therapeutic, and equipment maintenance technologies used in the delivery of patient care. May provide technical support during highly instrumented medical procedures. Provides consultation, instruction and / or technical direction for medical, nursing and other paramedical staff in the safe use of biomedical equipment.

Provides spiritual care and emotional support, including exploration of issues that are of meaning and value and / or issues causing moral or spiritual distress to patients, their families, staff, and others. Serves as a bridge to patient's religious community or congregation and to appropriate clergy or religious / spiritual leaders. Offers education and fosters conversation and clarification on cultural, ethical, religious, and other topics / dynamics that can affect patient care, family interactions, and staff performance.
