Check Your Measles Vaccination Compliance
UC policy requires all employees to have their MMR vaccination record on file with Occupational Health Services
The United States has seen a steep increase in measles cases over the past year with infections identified in California, including the Bay Area. Measles is highly contagious.
With more of our UCSF colleagues increasing their presence on site, part of our commitment to a healthy workplace is to ensure your measles (MMR) vaccination/immunity records are up to date.
Per University of California policy, all UCSF employees are required to have documentation of measles immunity on record with Occupational Health Services. Here is how to check your immunity status:
- Login to HR Umbrella (MyAccess required). In the “Compliance” section, locate and click on the “My Compliance” link near the bottom of the left-hand navigation menu to pull up your full OHS record.
- Check your immunity status. Review your vaccine record to confirm if you have documented MMR immunity (two doses or titer) showing immunity to all three components (Measles, Mumps and Rubella). If MMR is not listed, you will need to update your record.
- Check your MMR immunization records through your healthcare provider or online through California’s Digital Vaccine Record, then submit your evidence of immunity record through the OHS Portal (MyAccess required).
- If you still can’t find documentation of vaccination, please email the Communicable Disease Response Team (CDRT) [email protected] for guidance with the next steps. The team will work with you on a plan to check your immunity or update your MMR record to keep you, and the UCSF workplace protected.
Measles is highly contagious and for those without vaccination or immunity, nine out of ten people will go on to develop the measles infection if they have been exposed to someone who is has it.
