Postdoctoral Scholars Eligible for New Childcare Benefit Effective Oct. 1

New benefit will reimburse up to $2,500 per year for eligible childcare costs.

Effective Oct. 1, postdoctoral scholars are eligible for an annual reimbursement of up to $2,500 for childcare expenses (for children living in the home, age 12 or under) and reimbursement of travel-related childcare expenses. This annual reimbursement amount will increase over the next three years as follows:

  • Increase to $2600 on Oct. 1, 2024
  • Increase to $2700 on Oct. 1, 2025
  • Increase to to $2800 on Oct. 1, 2026
