Popular HR Webpages Now Available in Spanish and Simplified Chinese
This pilot program offers important employment information in a preferred language other than English.
A pilot program featuring popular pages of the HR website in Spanish and simplified Chinese recently launched, giving the UCSF community the opportunity to view important employment information in a preferred language other than English.
This pilot is part of the Finance & Administrative Services (FAS) DEIA-AR action plan to launch initiatives focused on diversity, inclusion and anti-racism.
Visitors to the site will see language selection buttons on translated pages. Users who have selected Spanish or simplified Chinese as their browser default language should also see the appropriate translated pages.
The site went through a "soft" launch in September. This time was used to make urgent fixes, gather feedback and take a preliminary look at user metrics.
