Retirement

Descripción general

Planning for retirement is a big step — the earlier you start to plan, the better. For most employees, the retirement process takes about three to four months to see through.

Please closely review the Preparing for Retirement article on UCNet for a full list of planning materials, things to know, and steps to take in advance of your retirement.

Retirement counseling

For assistance exploring your options available with UCRP and navigating the retirement process, please contact your retirement counselor. Ideally you should meet with your counselor at least 90 days in advance of your intended retirement date.

  • UCSF campus employees should contact the Campus Benefits Specialty Center at 415-476-1400 or [email protected] to schedule an appointment with your dedicated counselor.
  • UCSF Health employees should contact the Retirement Administration Service Center (RASC) Counseling Team. You can schedule an appointment with the team here.
