The UCSF Leave Experience Partners (LEPs) are dedicated to supporting and assisting our staff populations in the leave of absence process.

What we do

Your Leave Experience Partners are here to provide support during your leave, including but not limited to:

  • Acting as the liaison and bridge between Sedgwick and UCSF, ensuring smooth engagement between departments, employees and our leave vendor partner, Sedgwick
  • Serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to guide staff, people leaders and departments through complex leave processes
  • Providing consultative support to departments ensuring policy alignment, and partnering to focus on metrics, forecasting and planning
  • Handle leave timesheets in MyTime for block/continuous leaves
  • Partner with Benefits, Disability Management and Worker’s Compensation to ensure stronger alignment and clarity when overlap occurs
