Involves the preparation of surgical specimens for gross description and dissection, under supervision of a Pathologist. This includes but is not limited to: describes gross anatomic features; dissects surgical specimens; prepares tissue for histologic examination; and photographs the gross specimens. Performs postmortem examinations as needed.
