Interacts with physicians, clinical staff, and health information management professionals. Works with coding staff to ensure that documentation of discharge diagnoses and any co-existing co-morbidities are a complete reflection of the patient's clinical status and care.

Activities include conferring with physicians, clinical staff and physicists on prescribed dosages; measuring and modelling the contours of the tumor area on the patient's body during the simulation set up; mathematically developing treatment plans by hand calculation or through use of a computer.
