Whether retirement is months or years away, planning ahead can help you prepare for the transition. UCSF faculty and staff are invited to attend the Pathway to Retirement series Oct. 19-22 for information and resources to help plan for financial security and retirement.
The four-day virtual program will cover key retirement planning topics, including:
- Envisioning your retirement
- Planning income for the long term
- UC Pension and Retirement Savings Program benefits
- Social Security benefits and claiming strategies
- Retiree health coverage and eligibility
- Navigating the UC retirement process
- Resources and next steps
Presenters include Kendra Eaglin and Evelyn Arechiga from the UCSF Benefits Office and Clarissa Dimacali from the UC Retirement Administration Service Center, along with a special guest retiree speaker.
