UCSF is launching two new mandatory trainings during the week of April 14.   

UC Workplace Violence Prevention Training is a new annual training for Campus faculty, staff and students/trainees who are also employees. A similar training is already in place for UCSF Health. The Workplace Violence Prevention training was developed in line with California Senate Bill 553 requirements, and aims to help UC community members recognize, respond to, and report workplace violence. Training takes about 25 minutes to complete.  

Abusive Conduct in the Workplace Training, is a one-time training for UCSF Health and UCSF Campus faculty, staff and students/trainees who are also employees. Training provides an overview of the University of California policy on Abusive Conduct in the Workplace and covers the requirements of the policy.

Those required to take these trainings will receive an initial assignment email from the UC Learning Center and will have 60 days from the assignment date to complete the training.
