New Online Tool for Injury and Illness Reporting Rolls Out July 1

Report any workplace-related injuries and illnesses through a new online reporting tool starting July 1.

A new online reporting tool for workplace-related injuries and illnesses involving campus employees will go live on July 1. Employees and managers can access the new tool 24/7 from a computer or mobile device. It will offer a simplified way to submit and monitor employee injury claims to help manage risks and reduce the likelihood of repeated injuries in the workplace.

Follow these steps to report an injury or illness using the new online reporting tool:

This new tool is being rolled out systemwide with the partnership of UCOP Risk Management, Sedgwick and UC Risk and Safety Solutions. Partners in Facilities and Transportation have already started using it.

Please note: This new reporting system is for incidents involving UCSF campus employees only. Incidents involving UCSF heath employees should continue to be reported through RL Solutions. The reporting system used depends on whether the injured or ill employee is on the campus or health side, rather than the manager.
