New California Labor Code Requires Meal and Rest Periods for Certain Employees

Senate Bill 1334 goes into effect on Jan. 1, 2023 and applies to UCSF employees in non-exempt positions who provide direct patient care or support direct patient care in a general acute care hospital, clinic, or public health setting.
