Access OHS Portal is Live

The portal tracks progress on pre-hire activities for UCSF Health new hires

Access OHS is a new, automated system being used for UCSF Health new hires to collect and track progress on required pre-hire activities before an employee can begin work. Access OHS replaces paper forms and provides a streamlined platform to manage immunization and health screening records and completion of screening questionnaires, which allows for faster processing by Occupational Health Services (OHS).

The Process

  • A service request is created by the HR Generalist and sent to OHS.
  • Within 24-48 hours, OHS will send the new hire an email with a unique access code to sign into a secure portal, not requiring VPN/MyAccess, with their last name, DOB and the access code provided in the email.
  • Once logged in, Access OHS provides the new hire instructions on actions to take.

Manager Action

  • Encourage your new hire to complete all actions as soon as possible to avoid any delays in their start date.
  • Contact your HR Generalist if you have questions on status/progress.
