Descripción general
Follow these steps to replace your UCSF ID badge. Please note, Campus and Health each follow a slightly different process.
Process for Health employees
Paso1
Check your UCSF Directory profile
Go to the UCSF Directory to confirm the accuracy and completeness of your profile. If changes are needed, you should include these changes in the “Description” section of the general inquiry you create in People Connect (see Step 2).
Paso2
Submit an Ask a Question/General Inquiry
You must submit an Ask a Question/General Inquiry through PeopleConnect before attending a scheduled or drop-in appointment with WeID. When submitting the inquiry, select “Personal Information” as the type and “Badge Replacement/Change” as the sub type.
Paso3
Wait 5 business days
Please allow five business days for the inquiry to be reviewed, validated and entered in the IT Identity Management system by the HR Team.
Paso4
Make an appointment
To make an appointment, use the WeID online appointment system. You must bring your picture ID (e.g., license) to the appointment.
You can also visit the UCSF Police Department for more information about badges, including locations and hours.
