Ana Dolatabadi, PsyD, MA, is the Director and a Clinical Psychologist with the UCSF Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) and also maintains a private practice in San Francisco. She holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and Master’s degrees in Sociology and Transpersonal Psychology.

Dr. Dolatabadi specializes in supporting leaders and working professionals in high-pressure environments—including healthcare, technology, and the political sector—as they navigate personal and professional challenges. She partners with clients to reduce stress and burnout, build resilience, improve quality of life, and foster personal growth, with the ultimate goal of helping them live more authentically and meaningfully.

Dr. Dolatabadi takes a practical and collaborative approach, creating a space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. She blends empathy and understanding with actionable, goal-oriented strategies, tailoring her work to meet the unique needs of each individual. Her approach is integrative, grounded in relational psychodynamic work, and incorporates Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma, solution-focused strategies, mindfulness-based interventions, and strength-based approaches.

Dr. Dolatabadi also develops and leads psychoeducational workshops and group interventions on topics such as burnout, emotional intelligence, communication, resilience, and mindfulness in the workplace. She has facilitated trainings for the UC system, private sector organizations, and other professional settings, equipping individuals and teams with practical tools to enhance well-being and foster a healthier workplace culture.

At the heart of her work, Dr. Dolatabadi is passionate about helping people unlock their potential and cultivate a sense of fulfillment—not only by managing stress but by discovering what it means to live a fulfilling, empowered life.
