Talent Acquisition

Overview

Talent Acquisition partners closely with hiring leaders to strategically market jobs and identify, select and hire talent. We work with internal and external applicants to discuss opportunities and information about the work culture and values of UCSF.

Diversity and workforce outreach

A diverse workforce serves to meet the health care needs of our ever-increasingly diverse populations and translates to varied and innovative ideas and solutions. All of these strengthen our organization and support the UCSF Health mission of “Caring, Healing, Teaching and Discovering,” and the overall mission of UCSF: “Advancing Health Worldwide."

At UCSF Health diversity and an environment of inclusion are more than a set of policies and procedures. Diversity and an inclusive environment are valued, celebrated, and are defined in our core values: Professionalism, Respect, Integrity, Diversity and Excellence.

Diversity statement

The diversity of the people of California has been the source of innovative ideas and creative accomplishments from the state’s earliest days up to the present. Diversity – a defining feature of California’s past, present, and future – refers to the variety of personal experiences, values and worldviews that arise from differences of culture and circumstance. Such differences include race, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, language, abilities/disabilities, sexual orientation, gender identity, socioeconomic status, geographic region, and more.
