The HCF Program addresses access to health care issues for UCSF employees, trainees (residents, fellows and postdocs), retirees and family members.

Health Care Facilitators must comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) privacy and security laws mandating protection and safeguards for access, use and disclosure of personal health information. We follow UC’s Group Insurance Regulations, the terms and conditions of plan contracts, and Medicare laws and regulations.
