Well-Being, Other New Content Available on HR Website
The Human Resources website has expanded its content, providing new pathways to vital information
Well-being category
Users will find a new menu category, Well-being, with both new and existing content from the People Wellness team led by Stephanie Collins, VP of People Wellness. This new menu category of resources and information features new-to-HR Wellness content (recently moved from Campus Life Services); a new home and updated look for Occupational Health Services; and convenient new pathways to Faculty and Staff Assistance Program and Health Care Facilitator Program content. New content will continue to be added to this HR website category to ensure easy access to the range of Wellbeing resources at UCSF.
The Wellness section includes the popular UC Moves and Step It Up programs, as well as support initiatives ranging from Wellness Champions to UCSF’s Diabetes Prevention Program. Subscribers of the former Wellness and Community Newsletter will now receive a monthly newsletter specifically focused on Wellness related topics, originating from HR. Subscribers will also receive quarterly newsletters from Arts and Events with community related content.
“As the well-being team continues to integrate, we look forward to supporting an environment where our teammates can work at their full potential and do their best work.," Collins said. "We recognize that a healthy workforce is vital to the success of UCSF.”
PeopleConnect knowledge content transitions to HR site
Users now will be able to turn to the HR website for virtually all “knowledge” content. The web team has migrated all customer-facing knowledge content from the People Connect portal. This massive influx of content will inform and guide users in a range of processes, such as hiring, while PeopleConnect remains the tool for teammates and managers to submit questions and management actions.
The Careers section of the site is a prime example. Improvements include a coordinated suite of articles guiding managers through the hiring process, and information supporting temporary employees and their managers.
“When the HR site was overhauled a year ago, we knew there would be additional content to come,” said Terri Hunter-Davis, digital content strategist. “The new additions will further enhance our ability to provide direct service, to help people get to the information they need, efficiently and quickly.”
