Starting Oct. 1, 2022, most supplemental payments will be paid on the employee's pay date vs. an off-cycle payment. These include payments for clinical incentives, SPOT awards, and additional supplemental payments (except moonlight payments; those will continue off-cycle).

This change increases timeliness of supplemental payments for our UCSF teammates and aligns with the broader UC standard processing for supplemental payments. 

To assist with the tax and additional withholding increases associated with this change, UCSF teammates who are expecting a payment in one of these categories will be able to update their tax withholding and voluntary retirement deductions in advance of the pay date. The change effective date calendar, located on the UCPath website, can help guide the timing of these deductions.
