PeopleConnect’s Additional Pay Case will be updated the week of March 10 to simplify STAR award payment requests. The update will include the following changes:

• Reason field will be eliminated when Earn Code “XSL – Staff Award Local” is selected 
• When “Regarding Employee” is populated and the award is for a single individual, funding will now be entered directly in the case 
• When “Regarding Employee” is blank and/or the initiator indicates the award is for multiple employees, departments should continue to attach the STAR Award form to supply funding for multiple awardees 
• Logic has been updated to ensure amounts do not exceed program maximums
