Step increase for UPTE/Health Care Professionals Unit (HX).

A step increase will go into effect for UPTE/Health Care Professionals Unit (HX) for career, non-probationary employees within range. The increase is effective Jan. 1 (monthly employees) and Jan. 8 (biweekly employees) with a Feb. 1 pay date.

Employees must have a rating of satisfactory or better in their most recent evaluation to receive the pay increase.

Career and non-probationary HX Employees who are at the range maximum and received a rating of satisfactory or better on their most recent performance evaluation shall receive a 2 percent increase. It will be paid in a one-time, non-base building UCRP covered compensation, lump sum and coded in the payroll system as covered compensation.

Behavioral Health (Counselor and Psychiatric Professional) classifications and the Optometrist classifications accreted into the HX bargaining unit are eligible for a 2 percent increase in lieu of step. They must be a non-probationary career employee and received a rating of satisfactory or better on their most recent performance evaluation.
