Help Make the 2024 Virtual Veteran's Job Fair a Success

Departments and hiring managers are invited to engage with attendees at the Nov. 14 event

The UCSF Talent Acquisition team is committed to building a broadly diverse community to nurture a culture that is welcoming and supportive to veterans seeking job opportunities.

As part of that effort, UCSF is hosting the 10th annual Virtual Veterans Job Fair on Thursday, Nov. 14 from 1-4pm. Departments and hiring managers are invited to participate in the job fair to engage with attendees and share department/unit information as well as current and future job opportunities.  Your participation will help us highlight all that UCSF has to offer potential candidates.

Even if you aren’t currently hiring, we encourage you to share information about your department and opportunities with veterans interested in learning more about working here.

Interested departments and/or department representatives who would like to participate, should contact Lawrence Hoskie by Nov. 1.

The virtual job fair will showcase keynote speakers including Chancellor Sam Hawgood, Assistant Vice Chancellor of Environmental Health & Safety Doug Dresnek, and Executive Director of Supply Chain Management Mel Maxwell.

Following that, a panel discussion will include insights from Senior Recruiter Mary Tehaney, TEP Recruiting Staffing Manager Phil Isleta, Cancer Services APP Fellow Heather Coyne, Director of Disability & Leave Administration Judy Rosen, and Vice President of IT Infrastructure Susan Tincher.

The event will conclude with a virtual job fair, providing attendees with valuable networking and career opportunities. Please share the registration link with your network.
