Working With an Injury or Illness?
In support of workplace diversity and employee retention, DMS works with staff, faculty, residents, fellows, postdoctoral scholars, and student employees whose disabilities affect their ability to remain at work or return to work. DMS provides guidance on the interactive process, reasonable accommodations, leave of absence, and workplace accessibility. DMS also consults on injury mitigation and manages the workers' compensation programs for the campus and the health system.
