    The Office of the Vice Provost, Academic Affairs and Faculty Development facilitates the recruitment, development, mentoring and retention of the highest-caliber diverse faculty.

  • Talent Acquisition

    The Talent Acquisition team is a combined group of talent acquisition partners and talent sourcing partners serving all of the staff recruitment needs at UCSF for both campus and Health.

    The Wellness team leads programs and initiatives to support the UCSF community in seven pillars of wellness and connect people to wellness resources.

  • Leave Management

    The UCSF Leaves teams are dedicated to supporting and assisting our staff, faculty, residents, trainees, and non-faculty academics populations in the leave of absence process.

  • Workers' Compensation

    The Workers’ Compensation departments at UCSF work closely with employees and management to help reduce the number and severity of work-related injuries in order to provide a safer work environment for all UCSF employees. 

  • HR Academy

    The HR Academy (HRA) is dedicated to the development of the UCSF HR organization by supporting development opportunities for UCSF HR professionals and providing management resources on projects which directly support the UCSF HR initiatives.

    Shared Services provides operational delivery on Human Resources Programs for the UCSF Staff and Academic Populations.

    Occupational Health Services is dedicated to improving the occupational well-being and safety of our UCSF employees, faculty and staff.

    The UCSF Benefits teams help explain UC benefits programs and offer assistance for both UCSF Campus and Health employees on benefits-related matters. 

  • Labor and Employee Relations

    Contact Labor and Employee Relations (LER) if you need assistance with labor/management interactions, policies/collective bargaining agreements or resolution of workplace problems.

  • HR Communications

    The HR Communications team manages all internal HR communication and messaging from HR to our customers at UCSF.
