Educational Technology Services (ETS) will phase in a fee assessment over the course of the 2014-15 academic year for requesters who—without canceling their reservation in advance—reserve classroom space, request technician assistance for an event, or schedule lecture captures and then do not use the room during the scheduled time. The new policy is effective July 1 but will be in a transition period through the fall quarter during which ETS will monitor room use and provide two warnings per course/event before assessing a fee. Fees will be assessed without a warning beginning in winter 2015.
