Labor and Employee Relations now has an on-call pager to have a member of our team available to address urgent COVID-19 related issues. You may reach the LER on-call pager by dialing (415) 443-4663. The assigned team member will respond between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. within one hour.  

The LER Officer of the Day remains available to address other urgent situations that need same-day resolution. You may contact our Officer of the Day by calling one of our two main phone numbers at: (415) 353-4012 (UCSF Health) or (415) 353-4107 (UCSF Campus). Voicemail messages are transcribed and forwarded to our LER Coordinator who will then place you in contact with our assigned Officer of the Day. As a reminder, urgent issues are defined as those that involve imminent threat to self or others (e.g., patients or co-workers) which require immediate action with the employee (e.g., removing the employee from the workplace, sending the employee for a drug/alcohol screen due to suspected impairment; involvement of Medical Center Security or the UCSF Police Department).
