The reclassification and equity pause went into effect on February 29, 2020. At that time, there were approximately 350 PeopleConnect Management Actions case requests. This number exceeded our expectation, and the increase accounted for roughly 66 percent more than a regular two-month period for these two particular case types. As of Monday, May 4, 2020 the compensation team has completed 77 percent of these cases and represents tremendous progress. HR would like to thank the compensation team for their diligent efforts, and also campus departments for their partnership and patience while we work through these requests.

On Saturday, May 2, 2020 the reclassification and equity pause was lifted, and departments can now submit new case requests. As a friendly reminder, we expect any new cases to reflect prospective effective dates – no earlier than June 1. Please refer to our previous February 3, 2020 HR Update article for additional information, and you can also find details in the UCSF UCPath website cutover schedule, located in the common questions section.
