UC has an enriching partnership with Fidelity to provide retirement education and planning services to UC employees. At UCSF we’re fortunate to work with our trusted partners and Fidelity planners, Joe Hager and Nancy Pargot, who you’ve probably seen at various campus locations providing workshops and 1:1 retirement planning services. Joe and Nancy continue to be available and welcome you to set-up an appointment remotely. Start by scheduling an appointment, answer a few questions and dates/times for Joe and Nancy will populate.

If you’re planning to retire this July 1 and have not yet initiated the retirement process, you still have time. Please take the following steps:

  1. Go to UCRAYS and create a retirement estimate with a July 1 retirement date and June 29 separation date – need help logging into UCRAYs? Go to Getting Help.
  2. Email Benefits or call (415) 476-1400 to request an appointment with a UCSF Retirement Counselor who will advise you on each step to initiate your retirement application, decisions you need to make, and how to submit your application.
  3. Joe or Nancy can also review your full financial portfolio as part of this process.

If you have any questions, please contact the Benefits office, or call (415) 476-1400.
