Joanne Fraysse-Gordon, Senior Management Group/Faculty Administrator/Executive Compensation Coordinator, has announced that she will retire this Spring. Joanne began her UCSF career in 1991 processing Personnel Action Forms and implementing merit and range adjustments for Campus and Medical Center employees in what was previously known as the Personnel Department. Throughout her 29 year career, she has held various roles including supporting the Chief HR Officer, coordinating the Chancellor’s Award for Exceptional University Service/Management, co-leading Campus HR’s move to Laurel Heights in 1999, and acting as administrative coordinator for UCSF’s whistleblower program during its early days, among others.

Joanne has served in her current role since 2010, managing UCSF’s executive-level compensation processes for both the Campus and UCSF Health, including the ongoing HR generalist role for Senior Management Group (SMG) and Faculty Administrators, ensuring critical policy and process compliance. She is widely recognized and appreciated for her instrumental HR knowledge and expertise, exceptional customer service skills, and commitment to excellence.

We will begin a search for the Executive Compensation Coordinator role, and Joanne has committed to ensuring a smooth transition throughout the next few months.

We thank Joanne for her many years of service and commitment to UCSF Human Resources and congratulate her on reaching this milestone.
