You should have received notice of the UC Disability survey on October 7, and at least one subsequent reminder if you have not yet completed the survey.  As a recipient of federal funds, the University of California and other federal government contractors are required to invite employees to self-identify their disability status every five years. The first UC Disability survey was conducted in 2014. This survey is being conducted by Willis Towers Watson, an independent consulting firm specializing in employee surveys and research.

Completing this one-question survey is voluntary and your answer will be kept confidential. Your response to the survey is extremely important to UC because it will provide information to help assess our efforts to become a more inclusive community by recruiting, hiring and retaining qualified individuals with disabilities.

You may find more information about the Disability Survey at UCnet.

If you need workplace accommodations, you may contact Disability Management Services (DMS) directly for assistance with the interactive process.  DMS can be reached at 415-476-2621.
