Two PeopleConnect Enhancement Updates were implemented recently.  You will find these on the PeopleConnect Capability Updates page, which is a Quick Link on the home page.


1. A correction to the Case List Quick Guide link.  Please see the Case List Enhancements Knowledge Article for the complete list of improvements and quick guide with screenshots.  You can also find this article by browsing to the PeopleConnect Capability Updates page under Quick Links on the home page. On October 22, several enhancements were made to the Case List page, including:

  1. Ability to search across several fields, including the Regarding Employee and Regarding Department fields
  2. Ability to edit or cancel a request that is in Draft or has been Returned For Changes.  With this change users will not need to use My Draft Cases to locate and edit cases.  The My Draft Cases tab and page will be removed.
  3. Ability to filter with a new status called Closed – Complete to view just the completed cases


2. The Door Access form has been simplified to support a streamlined approval process. Please see the Door Access Quick Guide. Key benefits of the updates:

  1. No longer need to wait for the doors to get approved before submitting case to your Department Approver
  2. You will be emailed directly from the door approval system (Hitachi) when the doors are activated.
