I am excited to announce three new compensation staff members and some exciting changes for a current staff member. These changes help ensure the Compensation team’s ability to deliver consistent, excellent service to our clients and HR colleagues. Please join me in welcoming Flory, Jolene, Wilson, and Melissa to their new positions!

Flory Del Rosario, Compensation Supervisor 

Flory started in her new role as the Compensation Supervisor on October 1. Flory oversees the following in her new role:

  • All bargaining unit compensation activities
  • Supervising a team of analysts dedicated to processing high volume requests (e.g. recruitment requests)
  • HR’s compensation needs

Flory has a Master’s degree in Human Resources, CCP/GRP/CBP certifications, and extensive compensation leadership experience with companies such as Bank of America, CSAA, UPS, Federal Reserve Bank and Enphase Energy. 

Jolene Huey, Senior Compensation Analyst 

Jolene started with UCSF as a contract Senior Compensation Analyst on August 26. Jolene provides coverage for Compensation colleagues who are participating in the Kincentric workstream efforts and Job Builder. Jolene holds a Master’s degree in Economics, CCP/GRP/SPHR certifications, and has extensive compensation experience with companies such as Dignity Health, Hitachi, and UC Office of the President.

Wilson Lee, Lead Compensation Analyst

Wilson started with UCSF as Lead Compensation Analyst on August 5.  In his new role, Wilson will oversee:

  • Compensation technology project and program management activities inclusive of Job Builder, Kincentric process improvement work, PeopleConnect reporting, and the UC Path implementation
  • Lead Analyst for IT

Wilson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and has experience with in-depth financial modeling and compensation systems implementation for companies such as Levi Strauss, Esurance, Yahoo, and Nimsoft.

Melissa Ward, Senior Compensation Analyst

Melissa will start this new role on November 1. Melissa is currently serving as a contract Compensation Analyst. Melissa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, CCP certification, and extensive compensation experience with companies such as Levi Strauss, Autodesk, Wells Fargo Bank, Dolby Labs, and previously with UCSF.

 

The Compensation team still has one vacancy for a contract Senior Compensation Analyst.  Recruitment will begin soon for this role.
