October is Disability Awareness month, so to encourage dialogue and raise awareness about important issues, the Committee on Disability Inclusion invites the UCSF community to a special, free film screening. Deej is an award-winning, independent film about DJ (“Deej”) Savarese, a nonspeaking, autistic young man and his advocacy for civil rights.  DJ Savarese will attend this event and he will be available to answer audience questions immediately after the screening.

Refreshments: 5:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Film Screening: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
