Luke Hones, manager of the HR Information Systems (HRIS) team and IT Payroll functions, has announced that he will retire in February 2020. Luke joined UCSF in 2000 as an Assistant Analyst through UCSF’s TEP program. Since then, he has held numerous roles, including: Programmer/Analyst, HRIS Manager, and now leads HRIS and Payroll technical teams. Luke has built many of the systems HR and our clients use daily and been an instrumental partner in many critical programs and initiatives, such as annual merits, renewals,  and the engagement survey. Luke will be greatly missed for his expertise, dedication, humor, and cat photos.

To ensure overlap between Luke and his successor, the role will be posted in BrassRing in August. Once the position is posted, please refer qualified colleagues from your professional networks. Contact Jason Stout with any questions.

We thank Luke for his many years of service and commitment to a smooth transition in the coming months.
