At this time, the FY20 Salary Program (merit and focal equity) for policy covered employees is still pending approval from UC Office of the President. Additional information on the approval status is anticipated after the July Regents meeting.

SF Minimum Wage Ordinance

The San Francisco Minimum Wage Ordinance will increase the minimum salary from $15.00 to $15.59 per hour effective July 1, 2019. UCSF employees earning less than the new minimum wage will have their salary increased to meet this new requirement. For bi-weekly paid employees, the new pay rate will be reflected in the July 24, 2019 paycheck with June 30, 2019 effective date. For monthly paid employees, the new pay rate will be reflected in the August 1, 2019 paycheck with a July 1, 2019 effective date. Compensation Analysts will reach out to departments with a list of their impacted employees.
