The University of California is proposing a revision to the Investigation and Adjudication Framework for Staff and Non-Faculty Academic Personnel (Staff and NFAP Framework) under the Presidential Sexual Violence and Sexual Harassment (SVSH) Policy.

Attached for formal review is a draft revision to the Investigation and Adjudication Framework for Staff and Non-Faculty Academic Personnel (Staff and NFAP Framework) which can be found here: Investigation and Adjudication Framework under SVSH Policy.

As mandated by the California State Auditor (CSA), the Systemwide Title IX Office revised the framework to require the Chancellor or Chancellor’s designee to consult with their campus Title IX Officer on discipline for staff and non-faculty academic personnel found in violation of the SVSH Policy.

Please note that this change is required by CSA, and the Systemwide Title IX Office is soliciting feedback only on the redlined change (not the document as a whole).

Employees covered by this policy who wish to provide comments on the proposed revisions may submit them to [email protected] by March 11, 2019.
