Our 2018 Employee Engagement results are in, and this year we are pleased to announce new Manager Workshops to help you get the most out of your results and effectively address the issues your teams identified in their responses.

Our overall results indicate that feeling valued, respected, and appreciated is a major concern among employees at all levels in the UCSF system. At its core, engagement is about two things:

  • “I want to do meaningful work,” and
  • “I want to feel valued, respected, and appreciated for the work that I do.”

In these 2-hour workshops, managers will learn how to implement best-practice strategies and tactics, and receive simple, easy to use tools to help employees feel valued. The workshops will focus on three crucial topic areas:

  • Demonstrate Caring
  • Focus on Strengths
  • Participate in Meaningful Action Planning

Sessions are available at the following dates, times, and locations:

  • Wednesday, October 10th, 9am-11am, Regents Room, Laurel Heights
  • Wednesday, October 10th, 2pm-4pm,  Regents Room, Laurel Heights
