The Payroll Office has begun offering an online payment option beginning in September 2018. UCSF employees will have the option to make credit/debit card payments on the Controller’s Office website by way of a secure payment gateway hosted by Authorize.Net.

Online payments are intended for employees on unpaid leave who need to remit premiums in order to continue their benefits coverage. Currently, payments for benefits coverage while on leave must be made by check. Beginning in September, the Payroll Office has begun providing employees on leave with instructions for making credit/debit card payments. An online payment option may also be used to repay salary overpayments. Typically employees repay salary overpayments by payroll deduction. Beginning in September, they will now have the option to make one-time repayments by debit or credit card. Please see Payroll Overpayments for additional information on recovering overpayments.
