UCSF Human Resources is pleased to announce that UC President Napolitano has approved a system wide merit increase program for policy-covered (non-represented) staff employees for fiscal year 2019. Read more at UCnet.

At UCSF, the merit increases will be part of the FY19 Salary Program, which will consist of two components:

  1. Merit-based salary increases for policy-covered career employees using a 3% budget control point. Individual salary increases will vary depending on performance assessments.
  2. Administration of a salary equity review designed to address the most significant salary issues using a 1% budget control point.

The increases for the FY19 Salary Program will be retroactive to July 1, 2018.

The salary program will be announced directly to UCSF policy-covered staff tomorrow, and this announcement is intended to provide managers and supervisors with advance notice.

Specific details regarding eligibility criteria and paycheck timing, as well as administrative process guidelines, will be communicated soon.
