Engagement survey results are now available to managers on the new Gallup Access website. Managers should receive an email from Gallup with a unique link to access their results.

Important information about the 2018 Staff Engagement Survey:

  • System Enhancements: The Gallup website has significantly changed. The upgraded platform provides greater functionality and resources in addition to the standard reports that were available in previous years.
  • Protecting Confidentiality: To protect confidentiality, Gallup only generates reports for groups that had at least five people participate in the survey.
  • L&OD Website: Gallup Access sign in instructions are here and many other action planning tools and engagement resources are available at https://learning.ucsf.edu/engagement.

Next Steps for Managers

  1. Check your email for the invitation from Gallup (sent on July 12).
  2. Sign in and review your results
  3. Start to share results with your teams. Aim to finish sharing results by July 31.
  4. Begin action planning: no need to wait to meet with Learning and Organization Development or attend a training to start the planning process with your team.
  • The recommended action planning process rolled-out in 2017 is still a best practice.
  • Engagement is an every-day and year-round opportunity. Your 2018 survey results offer an essential checkpoint for you to review and recalibrate your existing action plan(s) as needed.
