At this time, the FY19 Salary Program (merit and focal equity) for policy covered employees is still pending approval from UC Office of the President. Additional information on the approval status is expected by the end of July. In July 2018, there are several represented wage implementations.

As a show of good faith for the parties ongoing bargaining, UC and the California Nurses Association have mutually agreed to execute the July 2018 version of UC’s experience-based step increase program for nurses employed at the UC’s five medical centers and ten campuses. Eligible nurses will receive a step increase on July 1. Both sides agree this move will enable them to continue to bargain with positive momentum over the remaining elements of a new multi-year contract covering UC’s approximately 14,200 nurses.
