As mentioned in HR Update on March 11, training on best practices for interviewing and setting salary with the new AB168 legislation will be offered to the Campus in late April 2018. Kellie Beale, Campus Compensation Manager, and Jessica Driessler, Campus Talent Acquisition Manager, will be presenting the training on the following dates and locations:

  • April 24: Parnassus Campus Health Sciences West (HSW) 303, 1 p.m. - 2 p.m.
  • April 25: Mission Bay Campus Genentech Hall (GH) N114, 1 p.m. - 2 p.m.

As a reminder, there is an AB168 toolkit posted on UC Net where there is a comprehensive FAQ, a PowerPoint deck, and an implementation guideline. Human Resources has taken the necessary steps to be in compliance with AB168 from an organizational standpoint, but we encourage hiring managers to become familiar with the additional information on the AB168 toolkit. If you are not able to make the training in person there will be a recording and slides posted on PeopleConnect shortly after the presentations.
