As a follow up to the HR Update article on January 3, we are pleased to announce that the AB168 salary history legislation toolkit is now available for hiring managers. As a reminder, this new legislation restricts conversations about the salary history of candidates for our open positions. The link will take you to UCnet where there is a comprehensive FAQ, a PowerPoint deck and an implementation guideline. Human Resources has taken the necessary steps to be in compliance with AB168 from an organizational standpoint, but we encourage hiring managers to become familiar with the additional information at this link: AB168 Salary History Legislation Toolkit.

Training regarding this new legislation and best practice with interviewing and setting salary will be offered to the Campus in late April 2018. The dates and location of the trainings will be published soon.
