As announced in the February 15 HR Update and based on client feedback, we have implemented an option for a preliminary review that will allow departments to submit SRS tickets and PeopleConnect Management Actions (PCMA) cases to extend appointments and distributions beyond June 30, 2018, prior to the annual staff renewal process that will begin in April.

Departments will be receiving their preliminary spreadsheets on March 12 and the deadline to submit SRS tickets or PCMA cases will be on March 23. We cannot guarantee that any request received after March 23 will be processed in time for the Round 1 spreadsheets.

To assist with planning for staff renewals, we are providing dates for the multiple rounds of review:

  • April 2018 - Round 1 review:
    • Week of April 5: Round 1 renewal spreadsheets will be sent out to departments 
    • April 23: Round 1 spreadsheets are due to HR
  • May - June 2018 - Round 2 review:
    • Week of May 21: Round 2 renewal spreadsheets will be sent out to departments
    • June 1: Round 2 spreadsheets are due to HR
  • June 2018:
    • Staff Shared Services will conduct a final sweep to ensure that all employees have been extended beyond June 30, 2018, and Shared Services will partner with departments to finalize remaining employees.

We hope that the addition of the March activities will help streamline the April – June activities.  

Note: MSP Physicians, Dentists and Pharmacists, will be handled through another process. Departments with this population will receive a separate announcement for this in mid-April.
