The final wage increase as part of UC’s  Fair Wage/Fair Work plan is being implemented this month.  All employees hired to work at least 20 hours per week will be paid a minimum of $15.00 per hour effective Sept. 24. This information was previously shared in a June 15 HR Update article. HR Staff Shared Services will be contacting managers who have employees impacted by this program and will coordinate with the transactional team to increase affected employees’ pay rates to the new minimum of $15.00. 

Key Dates:

  • 9/24: Effective date of pay increase
  • 9/24-10/7: First Pay Period at $15.00 per hour
  • 10/18: First paycheck with new rate of pay
