The New Student Intern Process will be live Monday, April 3, 2017. When departments submit a student intern request the following forms should be submitted via HR Services Request System (SRS) utilizing the “New Hire” or “Rehire” ticket type: 

  • Submission Form
  • Resume

This new process will be prospective. Any requests to extend an employee currently in one of these titles should follow the above process.  

As a reminder, the student intern titles have been excluded from the Career Tracks implementation. The first page of the new form includes the definition of both student intern titles: Student Intern (TC: 4740) and HS Student, Student Assistant 2 (TC: 4921). The use of the per diem student intern title will be phased out.
