Based on feedback the Career Tracks project team has identified two instances in which a manager/supervisor may receive a reconsideration final decision prior to the close of the Reconsideration Period: 

  • The employee(s) has been identified as performing an identical role as a member on the team who has been mapped to a different function/level 
  • The employee’s final mapping indicates there will be a change in exemption status 

The turnaround time for decisions will be based on volume and all decisions will be considered final. Payroll updates will not occur until all reconsideration decisions have been communicated to departments.

The project team will be evaluating each submission on a case-by-case basis to determine if calibration is required, and decisions should be held until after the close of the Reconsideration Period.
