The At Your Service Online (AYSO) new and current benefits enrollment portals will close at 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 9 and will reopen the morning of Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017. The closure allows the local payroll offices to complete year-end health and welfare changes.  All other AYSO portals will be available during this time.

Impact to New Employees:

  • Employees should be aware of the AYSO closure when enrolling and note that an enrollment form is required to enroll after Dec. 9. 
  • This table is a guide to the newly eligible enrollment process for the remainder of 2016. Employees will be advised of this information during their Benefits New Employee Orientations (NEO):

*If a different disability benefit is desired for 2017 or if an employee prefers to not elect the 2016 Supplemental Disability Plan but wants to carry the Voluntary Short Term and/or Long Term disability in 2017, a 2017, UPAY 850 Form should also be submitted to PayrollBenefits@ucsf.edu during the PIE.

**If an employee is in a limited appointment, which is not eligible for Supplemental Disability, but will be eligible for Voluntary Disability next year, a 2017, UPAY 850 Form should also be submitted to PayrollBenefits@ucsf.edu within the PIE.

Impact to Current Employees:

  • Employees using Current Enrollments through Dec. 9 will continue to see their 2016 health and welfare enrollments. (Open Enrollment changes will not yet be populated.)
  • Starting on approximately Jan. 4, 2017, employees will be able to view their 2017 enrollments (including their Open Enrollment changes).
